Sunny sping evening at Aasum

Spring has finally kicked the winter away, and the sun has been shining for some days now. Mads has booked two days of fishing in Skjern Å – some of the finest Salmon water in Denmark (more on that in a weeks time). Now this leaves him pretty hyped and to calm down he went for an evening trip at Odense Å. Know Åsum is one of our favorite spots near Odense, and the sea trout is very active here at the moment. Mads made several spottings of nice trout’s before (after two hours of fishing) he hooked a 1,4 kg sea trout on a slow sinking Rapala wobler.

Fishing sea trout’s in the streams we recommend using big spooned woblers that quickly goes deep, or sinking woblers like this one.

Now the video shown here is quite dogma-like as it is shot on a mobile phone while fighting the trout, but never the less it displays some of the power that makes sea trout’s a got fighter.

Below you will find some footage of the fish and some general guidance if you want to go here yourself
