Elevator trouts

So we are getting near the summertime in Denmark (can't fell it though: Sometimes it snows in April). Now while the summer offers the challenge of nice brown trouts it also holds the opportunity of catching “elevator trouts” swimming from the “fjord” upstream to hunt for a while.
In Odense Å one of the likely stretches to catch one of these are the one described here. So Mads went out there and gave it a shoot and to make some nice pictures for us. If you want to fly fish this is a really nice place, as there is plenty of room for casting.
The stream is so nice here, as it curves and bends there is a lot of narrow passages where the stream clearly is deep 2 – 3 meters. This is where you want to send your wobler, spinner or fly. And get it down there… The big fish is at the bottom. So you might lose some gear, but in exchange for a 3kg + fish that is ok.

So get out there
