Two trips two nice trouts

I blogging two trips in one...

The "fish whispere" is on fire and pulls beautiful sea trouts from Odense river in such speed, that I have trouble keeping up... that is positive I admit. We have previously written about the stretch from the bridge at Åsum, up against the forest bend and on to the fire station. A really recommendable stretch. We have caught many beautiful trouts here. Mads went here a few times in March and caught two nice fish (see above and below):

Generally, there is plenty of water in the river right now, and fishing has been a fantastic - what a start to the season, with big fishes on all trips up until now. I hope you will have time to get out there soon. A little guide for the trip. We would suggest to park either at the Åsumbridge (as indicated on the map) or on the large parking lot behind the fire station. We have actually had success throughout the stretch, but particularly at the forest bend and the last stretch up to the Åsum bridge where Lindved Å and Odense Å runs together have produced good catches.

Class 4 spinner or bigger - you need to get 1 - 1,5 meter under water

Mörasilda or its like 15-20 g

Floating Rapala woblers

Fly:

Sinking flys with some color (not salmon flys, they still need to imitate food)
